WELS Ministry of Christian Giving has announced plans for 2010 Walking Together, the annual celebration of the work we accomplish, by God's grace, as a synod.

Congregations are being encouraged to observe a Walking Together Sunday—first celebrated in 2005—in September. The 2010 service, based on Revelation 14:6, highlights the synod-supported ministry of Sure Foundation, Woodside, New York—a mission in what's described as one of the most ethnically diverse communities on earth.

Instructions as well as worship and promotional resources are available on Connect, the synod's new Intranet. A user name and password are required. Posters, brochures, and offering materials will be shipped in June. A video production highlighting the Sure Foundation mission will be featured as the September edition of WELS Connection. Congregations that don't subscribe will be sent a copy of that episode. Congregations needing any of these resources mailed earlier should contact WELS.
