North Atlantic district
On Nov. 15, 2009, Sure Foundation, New York City, New York, held its church dedication service. Fellow WELS members from New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jer-sey, and Virginia attended the service.
Southeastern Wisconsin district
Happy anniversary!—On Dec. 18, 2009, Mark Schroeder, synod president, honored those who work at the synod administration building who were celebrating service anniversaries: Pastor Michael Hatzung (25 years), Pastor Kurt Lueneburg (25 years), Pastor Dave Kehl (30 years), Pastor Steven Staude (35 years), and Teacher Harold Mears (45 years).
