Changes are coming to the way you manage your subscription to "Together." Between now and the next edition of Together on Feb. 16, to continue receiving each bi-weekly edition, all subscribers other than called workers will need to re-subscribe through a new, easy-to-use, self-service subscription system that manages all electronic communications from the synod. Called workers are being automatically re-subscribed to Together. An e-mail with details will be sent next week.

The new subscription service is part of an overall makeover for Together. There will be a whole new look for the e-newsletter, one that more closely mirrors the new look of the WELS Web site. Also, starting Feb. 16, Together will be delivered the first and third Tuesdays of each month rather than Monday. Moving forward, call reports will be delivered exclusively via Together; when you re-subscribe to Together you will automatically receive the call reports as part of the e-newsletter.

The redesign of the WELS Web site and Together are part of an overall revamping of synod communications reflected in other resources such as the WELS Connection video presentations and Forward in Christ magazine, which launched a new look in January.

According to Joel Hochmuth, director of communications, this is all part of WELS' larger identity initiative to proclaim "Christ's Love, Our Calling" to the world. "We want to tell the world what we're about in positive terms," he says. "We want to unify the look and feel of all of our communications to demonstrate our entire synod is part of this mission."
