Ministerial Education
WELS Ministerial Education works to provide workers for the more than 1,200 churches and 750 schools in the synod. WELS provides this education through a system of four schools: two high-school-level preparatory schools, a college, and a seminary.

Our worker training system
Centered on the one gospel of Jesus Christ, the four-school ministerial education system serves as an integral ministry of WELS and exists for the one purpose: to prepare well-trained servants for the church.
Training for the ministry
WELS maintains four ministerial education schools:
